At Stepping Out Stepping In (SOSI) we believe that every child and adult is integrally connected to nature in mind, body and spirit. SOSI believes that every child deserves to grow up with an array of experiences to enrich their sense of the world and themselves.  SOSI provides fun nature exploration, creative outdoor play and environmental education that focuses on the ecology of the San Francisco Bay area and how we are each part of the web of life that supports us.

Stepping Out Stepping In provides opportunities for inner city kids to experience their own personal connection to nature. Our guides are professional naturalists who have many years of experience working with kids in wilderness and  outdoor parks. SOSI believes that these experiences help people understand their place in the world, have a sense of wholeness, and  see positive opportunities for their lives and how they can make positive differences in the world in which they live!
